NONGPOH: In a bid to encourage and also to uplift the spirit of the students who had performed well in the examination of the SSLC 2013, the Ri Bhoi Youth Federation (RBYF), Central Body on Friday, conferred all the 14 students with the ‘Toppers Academic Award’ in a felicitation programme held at Umsning Auditorium Hall, Umsning.
The felicitation programme was attended by RBYF Central Body president B B Makdoh, Umsning Town Dorbar’s chairman Rocky Kylla among others.
The RBYF, Central Body also handed over the scholarship of Rs. 500 per month to four meritorious students so as to assist them in continuing their studies further.
