Bureaucratic reshuffle

 SHILLONG: Effecting a bureaucratic reshuffle, the state government has relieved the principal secretary, Home (Passport) & Prisons, Home (CD&HG) Hector Marwien of responsibilities as the principal secretary Home (CD&HG) .

According to an official notification, Commissioner and Secretary of IT department DP Wahlang will hold additional charge of commissioner and secretary of Education department.

The director, Educational Research &Training and Joint Secretary of Education & Social Welfare department CCM Mihsil has been transferred as Director of the higher and Technical Education. He will, however, continue as the Joint Secretary of Education & Social Welfare department

Director of School Education & Literacy JD Sangma has been transferred and posted as the Managing Director of MECOFFED, while additional district magistrate and project director DRDA, South Garo Hills DD Sangma has been transferred as additional district magistrate and project director DRDA, West Garo Hills.

Tangseng G Momin, ADM, West Garo Hills district has been transferred as the ADM of South Garo Hills.

Meanwhile, Proley M Sangma ADM and planning officer South Garo Hills is transferred and posted as ADM and project director DRDA, East Garo Hills, Williamnagar.

Ashish M Sangma, ADM, South Garo Hills and CEO of Municipal Board, Baghamara will now also function as project director DRDA, South Garo Hills district.

EAC, Ri Bhoi R Kharbihkhiew, has been transferred as EAC of West Jaintia Hills while Shelly Ch Momin EAC, Dadenggre sub-division is transferred and posted as EAC of South West Khasi Hills, Mawkyrwat.
