Remuneration yet to be paid

 SHILLONG: Even after eight months of the submission of the jail break report, the staff and Justice (retd) S P Rajkhowa are yet to get three months’ remuneration.

According to sources, the remuneration is yet to be cleared by the judicial section of the State Government.

The inquiry had cost the State exchequer dearly as more than Rs 1 crore was spent for the Judicial Inquiry Commission to complete the probe.
