Clean and green award constituted in NG Hills

SHILLONG: The Deputy Commissioner of North Garo Hills has initiated the process for ‘Clean and Green Village Award’, a scheme introduced by the State Government to promote sanitation and hygiene through community involvement.

Under this scheme, cash prizes will be awarded to the villages that are adjusted to be the best, based in certain criteria, in each of the C&RD blocks.
