Assault

One TR Marak lodged a complaint that on August 24 at around 5.30 pm, his son, Amit Marak who was driving a Ford Icon car (ML-05D-5511), knocked down one Maya Joshi near Bishnupur Bazar, Shillong. Following the incident, Sanjeev Sharma assaulted and threatened the driver of the car.

Theft

On the evening of August 28, unknown miscreants stole one motorcycle (ML-08C-6898) belonging to one Bello R. Marak from Chengkugre (WGH).

lOn August 28 night, unknown miscreants broke into a shop belonging to one Ravi Kumar Poddar at Jingkieng Nongthymmai, Shillong and stole goods valued around 11,000.

lOn August 28 at around 1 am, unknown miscreants stole one motorcycle (ML-08B-2877) belonging to one Laitonthem Sandeep from Sangsanggre (WGH).

Stabbing

On the night of August 28, while one Wanjop Sungoh of Khliehrangnah (WJH), was on his way to Raliang Market, unknown miscreants stabbed him with a sharp weapon. As a result, he sustained injuries.

Arrests

On August 28, Police arrested one Nimesh Marak in connection with a theft case under Khanapara PS.

On August 27, Police arrested two persons, Mash D. Marak and Rajesh S. Marak in connection with theft of two motorcycles from Siju (SGH). Investigation is in progress.
