The Office of the District Sports Officer, West Jaintia Hills District, in collaboration with the Laskein Sports Association, ended the Chief Minister Football Tournament 2013 for the under-12 at the Lasken Block level at Laskein playground on Friday. The tournament, which began on August 27, saw Laskein Sports Club defeat Madan Rwan in the final by a solitary goal, scored by Waijingmut Lamare in extra time. The event ended with a prize distribution ceremony attended by the secretary of LSA, Rancha Lyngdoh, along with other members of the Association and the District Sports Office.
