Debate
Women’s College, Shillong, will organize the Mrs FI Hussain Memorial Inter-School & College Debate competition on September 7 at 1 pm at the college auditorium. The topic of the debate is ‘India’s post-reform economic policies are anti-poor’.
Workshop
A two-day workshop on MGNREGS will be organized by the State Institute of Rural Development for Journalists on September 13 and 14 at SIRD campus, Nongsder, from 10 am.
The Directorate of Census Operations, Meghalaya, is organising a data dissemination workshop on population enumeration census 2011 on September 6 at Don Bosco Youth Centre, Laitumkhrah at 10 am.

Competition
A singing competition will be organized by the Rilbong Durga Puja Committee in October 2013. The audition for the event will be held on September 6 at 4.30 pm at Rilbong Sanatan Hindu Dharmasabha premises.
