SHILLONG: The Hynniewtrep National People’s Federation (HNPF), while extended its support to the agitating teachers of the State, on Wednesday vehemently condemned the State Government for ignoring the genuine demands of the teachers and also took a dig at Education Minister Prof RC Laloo.
In a statement issued here, the HNPF said, “It is a big shame for our State that the teachers have to agitate on their special day (Teachers’ Day),”
“Will the government now be happy to witness the teachers go on agitation?” the Federation questioned.
“Prof RC Laloo is stubborn and deaf since he is well aware of the problems of the teachers of the State but he is acting as if he is ignorant. What a shameless creature,” the HNPF lashed out at the Education Minister.
