SHILLONG: Police on Sunday night arrested president of Hynnniewtrep Achik National Movement (HANM), Balat circle, Kharawbor Rangdkhew, for his involvement in the illegal detention of seven persons at Trongpleng on August 30. According to East Khasi Hills SP M Kharkrang, Rangdkhew was produced in court on Monday and was later remanded to four- day police custody.
