SHILLONG: In an incident that could raise a few eyebrows the answer scripts of Fluid Machines and Term-IV, Mechanical examinations were found missing from the Shillong Polytechnic.
Examination Superintendent R Lyngwa said the papers might have got mixed up and institute officials were trying to relocate them.
An FIR in this regard was also filed at Mawlai police station by the Principal of the institute, W.L Warjri. He, however, ruled out the possibility of the papers being stolen.
“If not found, state council can allow for re-examination of the concerned candidates,” he said.
When contacted, East Khasi Hills SP (City) Vivek Syiem said that police have started investigation into the matter.
