Corrigendum

Apropos the news item ‘Tuskers in trouble: Loss of habitat to coal, limestone mining’ (ST dated Tuesday, Sept 17), the elephant population in the State in 2011 was erroneously mentioned as 18,100. The same should be read as 1810. The error is regretted.
