SHILLONG: Owing to Seiborlang Nongbri’s 58th minute goal, Mawkriah West were able to squeeze out a 1-0 win over Lummawbah in their Third Division match at Polo Grounds on Tuesday.
Nongmensong rode on Kordor Myrthong’s and Synsha Diengngan’s goals to overpower Risa Colony 2-1. Kordor opened the account in the 14th minute before Synshar doubled the lead (45th) with a scorcher. Risa Colony pulled one back in the 52nd minute, but could not score further.
In another match, Wankupar Kharkongor scored a 65th minute goal to see Sanmer defeat Nongsohphoh 1-0.
