House session from Oct 4

SHILLONG: The State Assembly will meet for five days starting from October 4.The Business Advisory Committee (BAC) in its meeting held on Thursday fixed October 4, 7, 8, 9 and 10 for holding session with a recess to assemble on October 21 for the address of President of India Pranab Mukherjee. This will be Mukherjee’s first visit to the State after he became the President of India. The BAC fixed three days for government business and the remaining two for private members.
