SHILLONG: The Deputy Commissioner of North Garo Hills W Khyllep has imposed section 144 Cr PC in the district prohibiting unlawful assembly of five or more persons in public places, thoroughfares, public roads, national highways, causing obstruction and intimidation to travellers or general public, causing obstruction to the movement of vehicles, carrying/ concealing of lathis, sticks, stones, missiles, firearms or any kind of lethal weapons by any persons or group of persons or organisations.
The order will be effective in the entire North Garo Hills district.
