SHILLONG: Wansuk Myrthong, the first woman from Meghalaya to summit Mt. Everest, has been recommended to be the State Election Icon during the special summary revision of electoral rolls and general election to Lok Sabha, 2014.
The recommendation was made recently when the mountaineer was felicitation by the State Chief Electoral Officer P Naik.
