SHILLONG: The Tura Diocese is yet to verify whether the blood believed to be tears of Mother Mary in Tura’s Rongkhon village, is real or not. “The facts are yet to be proven and we are initiating an enquiry into this miraculous incident,” Bishop of Tura Diocese, Andrew Marak said here on Wednesday. It was on Monday morning when one Lakme Sangma found the statue of Mother Mary at her house at Rongkhon village with blood tears. The Parish in Rongkhon was informed and since then, prayer meetings are being held in her house.
