Dympep stresses on sustainable development

SHILLONG: Chairman of Meghalaya Peoples Human Rights Council and Permanent Representative to the UN Dino D G Dympep, while taking part in the recently concluded High Level Political Forum (HLPF) Discussion on ‘Sustainable Development’ at the 68th Session of the United Nations General Assembly held at New York-USA, stressed that sustainable development for indigenous people could be achieved only if basic human rights are at its centre.
