Theft

  1. On September 24 at about 10:30 am, employees of BSNL detected that unknown miscreants stole underground cables valued around Rs. 2,818 from Nongrim Hills.
  2. On September 22 around 11:30 pm, unknown miscreants stole one TV set, one box containing documents and other household goods valued around Rs. 25,000 from the house of one Serius Nongbri at Thateja village (WKH).

Kidnap

On September 18, unidentified miscreant kidnapped one minor girl (14) from Kiang Nangbah College Complex, Jowai (WJH).
