Itanagar: 777 Days Incredible Indian Himalayas campaign was launched by Dr. K. Chiranjeevi, Union Minister of State for Tourism (IC) on the eve World Tourism Day at Convention Hall, Hotel Ashok, Delhi yesterday.

Launch of ‘777’ is an ambitious attempt of Ministry of Tourism, GOI, to promote the tourism potential of the Himalayas which spreads in six states viz. A Power point presentation on tourism potentials of Arunachal Pradesh was presented by K.N.Damo to highlight the niche tourism product of Arunachal and was well admired.

The launch of 777 campaign was attended by all the Tourism ministers of six Himalayan states and the stake holders of the Tourism Industry.

It also witnessed foreign travel writers, adventurers and the brand Ambassador of North Face Dr. Conrad Daniel Anker who shared their experiences of Himalayas.

The kind of product the tourist look for in Himalaya we have it and may be more. This is surely going to give a big leap to the Arunachal tourism. We are very very happy and excited about this campaign.’
