Assault
On September 28 at around 8:30 am, one unidentified person armed with a dao wounded one Kremoni Sangma (52) on her neck and looted Rs. 1,000 from her at Norangga (EGH). As a result, she sustained injuries and admitted at PHC Adokgre.
Clarification
Regarding the arrest of two HANM leaders, police has clarified that one of the arrested HANM leaders is Alban K Gashnga and not Arful Kharbani, as reported earlier.
Body recovered
On September 28, one unidentified semi-decomposed male body aged around 40, was recovered from an abandoned shed at Rynjah. Cadaver was sent to CH, Shillong for PM examination.
Theft
On the night of September 26, unknown miscreants broke into a Pharmacy belonging to one Neil Armstrong Sangma at Hawakhana, Tura (WGH) and stole Rs. 60,000.
