SHILLONG: Honours were shared rather evenly as the Inter-School Tournament (Mairang Block) concluded on Saturday.
The multi-discipline tournament, which began on Thursday, saw five different schools win events.
Mairang Pres Hr Sec School won the boys team badminton event and finished second in the girls event.
Mairang Pres Eng Sec School claimed top spot in the girls, while Domkor RC UPS were runners-up in the boys competition.
Maskgidian L Mawnai won the boys individual event for Mairang Hr Sec, while Rudney Emerson Hujon came second for Mairang Eng Sec.
In a reversal, Mairang Eng Sec won the girls individual event through Naphisabet Kurbah, with Evareen Marbaniang of Mairang Hr Sec coming second.
Mawkynsah Sec School won swept the handball and kabaddi events and Domkor did the same in kho-kho.
Little Star EM School claimed the boys volleyball title, while Mairang Eng Sec won it for the girls.
