Nagaland observes Intl Day of Older Persons

Kohima: The Nagaland Senior Citizens Forum (NSCF) would be observing the International Day of Older Persons on October one in Kohima on the theme ‘the future we want: what older persons are saying’.

According to sources here on Saturday, to mark the day, a state level function ‘Walkathon’ took place at 7 a.m. from Old MLA Hostel Junction to Zonal Council Hall Kohima, where the main function was held.

The NSCF office bearers, executive members and distric unit representatives also stayed back after the state function for a meeting. (UNI)
