SHILLONG: Thma U Rangli-Juki ( TUR) a progressive people’s group of Meghalaya, is organising a two-day State-level gathering on October 4 and 5 at Bethel Prayer House, Umniuh Road, Umbir (before UCC, Barapani), East Khasi Hills District.

The motive behind the gathering is the need to initiate a dialogue on ‘Land, Natural Resources and Displacement in Meghalaya’, an issue that has brought inequality and insecurity to the people.

Key activists from Odisha, Manipur and Delhi will attend the gathering.
