BJP welcomes agitators’ decision

SHILLONG: The State BJP has welcomed the decision of the NGOs to suspend their agitation on the issue of implementation of ILP (Inner Line Permit) on the occasion of Durga Puja festival scheduled from October 10 to 16.

The BJP, further, urged the government to take extra measures to check the miscreants trying to create law and order problem and try to disturb the festival mood in the State in general and capital city in particular.

The State BJP also greeted the people of the State on the occasion of Durga Puja and hoped that peace and prosperity will prevail in the State during the festival days.
