Two days after Dina Eastwood filed for legal separation from Hollywood actor-director Clint Eastwood last month, she apparently had a change of mind and went back to the Monterey County Superior Court to file for its dismissal.
It is not known whether the 48-year-old reporter and TV anchor has since reconciled with her husband but by requesting for the dismissal, she can no longer file again, at least for legal separation. By filing for the dismissal, Dina in effect withdrew a petition for asking for spousal support and physical custody over their 16-year-old daughter Morgan, with joint legal custody and visitation rights to be granted to Clint.
The Mrs Eastwood & Company reality TV star filed for legal separation last September citing irreconcilable differences, after 17 years of marriage.
Apparently, prior to Diana’s official filing of the court documents, the couple had already parted ways more than a year before, which could explain why Clint was ready to move on to his next romance with Erica Tomlinson-Fisher, with whom he was photographed in LA shortly after Dina filed for legal separation. The photos reportedly upset Dina and made her change her mind about formalizing the split with Clint to protect their USD 375 million fortune from Tomlinson-Fisher, who has supposedly moved in with Clint. Despite the split, the estranged couple has remained amicable with one another, with Dina even defending Clint after the failure of their marriage was revealed, even going on to say how her ex-husband was “a wonderful, good natured, brilliant person.” (PTI )
