MSCW condemns sexual assault

SHILLONG: The Meghalaya Commission for Women has strongly condemned the shocking incident involving a minor girl being forcefully abducted and sexually assaulted at Shillong Peak. “We have urged the concerned department to take up this issue immediately and seriously and to ensure that there is a system to strictly monitor public vehicles,” MSCW chairperson Theilin Phanbuh said.
