A Maruti Alto travelling towards Jowai fell into a ditch at 8th Mile, around 16 km from Jowai, West Jaintia Hills on Oct 17 at 3:40 am. The injured has been identified as Kio Kharkhap (28, M).
A Maruti Alto (MLO6 – 2285) coming towards Shillong from Nongstoin went off the road and fell into a drain at Lad Mawklot, 7th Mile, Upper Shillong, on Oct 16 at 11 pm. The injured persons have been identified as Lancis Thongni (21, M) and Sara Wanniang (39, F).
