SHILLONG: Police arrested two persons along with some objectionable items in city on Thursday.
The arrested persons are Thrangbor Nongrum (32) of Kyrbom Mawprem and Shemlad Nongum (34) of Wahingdoh. Police seized two catapults, marble size stones, knuckles and 180 ml of liquor from the duo.
Meanwhile, suspected pro-ILP activists hurled a petrol bomb at the residence of one Sisir Sarkar at Mynsain, Lumparing on Thursday morning. Two motorcycles, parked inside the premises, were partially damaged in the incident.
