Local artists to perform in Uttarakhand

SHILLONG: Local artists have yet again added another feather to the talented pool in arts and sports in the State with the invitation of three senior musicians of the State to perform in Mussorie and Dehradun in Uttarakhand in November.

These three artists-Headingson Ryntathiang, Phom Lyttan and Shandalang Talang will be the star performers at a prestigious function in these two cities on November 6 and 7 in a show entitled-‘A performance of Vintage Rock and Roll from the Highlands of Shillong’.

The three have been invited by the president of the Mountain authors Association, Steven Alter of Woodstock School, a well known author and adventurer.

Together with the Felexis group from this city, these senior artists will be the star performers at the Association’s function in these two cities. They will be leaving Shillong on November 4.
