Megh shuttlers qualify for main round at national tournament

SHILLONG: Three shuttlers from Meghalaya have qualified for the main round of the All India Sub-Junior Badminton Ranking Tournament in Guwahati, it was announced through a press release on Friday.
According to the Meghalaya State Badminton Association, Ritu Raj Nag (U-15 boys singles), Tanvi Ikbal (U-13 girls singles and doubles) and Monalisa Khasain (U-13 girls doubles) have made it through.
Technical officials from the state are Balarina Syiem, Rajuthingbaijom, L Lyndem, T Kharnaior and P Kharnaior.

Meanwhile, the MSBA also announced that 14 shuttlers will participate in the North East Zone Inter State & Open Badminton Champions, to be held in Itanagar from October 23-26.
The players are: Raju Joshi, Pretty Singh, Porsuram Joshi, Larihun Warjri, Siddartha Das, Banadien Rapsang, Freddy Lyngdoh, Cheryl Mawlieh, Micheal Iacais, Chi Nobem G Momin and Bobby Singh.
Team officials: Pandora Rapsang, Raju Thingbaijam, Heliard D Marak.
