Kohima: The Eastern Naga Students’ Federation (ENSF) has unanimously decided to ‘take any action’ against the State government till its demands are fulfilled.
According to a press communiqué issued jointly by ENSF president Shahsha L. Menhahu, General Secretary Honang M. Jessuhu and Speaker Federal Assembly NC Mongko Chang expressed dismay over the ‘lackadaisical attitude of the State Government’ to the ultimatum served to it on October 10 for fulfillment of its demands. The decision to this effect was taken by the Federation at its 11th Federal Assembly in Mon on Thursday.
The ENSF Federal Assembly took serious note of the subsequent failure of the State Government in not fulfilling its assurance given by Chief Minister Neiphu Rio, on Feb 3, 2012 and dated Feb 7, 2012 with regard to Niathu Resort Agreement. (UNI)
