Rape accused arrested
Police arrested two persons– Subodh Hajong and Luis Ch. Sangma in connection with a gang rape case under Mahendraganj PS.
Body recovered
On October 12 at around 11 am, an unidentified male person was found lying near Sani Mandir, GS Road and shifted to CH, Shillong, where he died (October 19). Necessary formalities have been observed.
Threat case
One V. Rita Syiemiong lodged a complaint at Laitumkhrah PS that on October 16 at around 3 pm, one Andy Nongkhlaw demanded money from one Amar Baruah and when she intervened Nongkhlaw indecently abused and manhandled her. He also threatened her with dire consequences. Police arrested the accused.
lOne Kheindor Kharjahrin lodged a complaint at Mawlai PS that on October 12, one Plielad Dohtdong insulted her and also threatened her with dire consequences at Mawlai. Police arrested the accused.
