Petrol bomb hurled on roadside vendor

SHILLONG: A roadside vendor had a close shave when unidentified miscreants hurled a petrol bomb at him at Motphran in broad day light on Wednesday.

Police said the incident took place at around 1 pm when two miscreants hurled the petrol bomb on the vendor identified as Raj Kumar Rai of Garikhana.

His food items were destroyed in the incident. No arrest has been made so far in this connection.
