SHILLONG: The CSWO (Irene) has viewed with concern the statements of Trading Association and the Meghalaya Citizens Forum for opposing the bandh which is called to protest against the dastardly act of killing of an innocent trader of the city.

“It is very astonishing as to why people have preferred to come out against the bandh where as they were tight lipped on the attack on two innocent persons who finally lost their lives,” CSWO President Irene Hujon said.

Their statements appear to be guided by certain motive as it only points out to their tacit support for the anti-social elements, she said adding that the CSWO, however, would go ahead with the bandh and asked for the support of the concerned citizens.
