SHILLONG: A late goal by Donbo’k Khyndait helped Meghalaya Police FT claim a close 2-1 win over Mawlai in an Imperial Blue Shillong Premier League match on Friday. The policemen were being challenged by bottom-placed Mawlai who put up a strong resistance against their opponents.
Earlier, Strongwell Shanpru gave MLP the lead with a 23rd minute goal. However, Mawlai’s Kenny Lynrah helped his side level scores a minute.
