Militants hurl grenade at Army camp in Poonch

JAMMU: Militants hurled a grenade at an Army camp in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, without causing any damage.

Unidentified militants hurled a grenade at the camp of Territorial Army battalion on Saturday night, officials said on Sunday. The grenade exploded near the camp without any loss of life or injury to anyone.

Meanwhile, in Srinigar, Central Reserve Police Force personnel along with Rashtriya Rifles and the J&K police, recovered a cache of ammunition on Sunday.

Based on specific information, 147 rounds of 7.6mm ammunition, six hand grenades and one wireless set were recovered. (Agencies)
