SHILLONG: The number of Dengue cases in West Garo Hills has risen to 20 even as preventive measures are being taken by the West Garo Hills district administration.

The West Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner Pravin Bakshi on Wednesday said that though 20 persons were affected by Dengue , they were all discharged from the hospital.

The state health officials are camping in Tura to assess the situation.

“We are making all efforts to ensure that there is no further outbreak of dengue,” Bakshi said.
