St Anthony’s to meet St Edmund’s in cricket final

SHILLONG: St Anthony’s College will meet St Edmund’s College in the final of the NEHU Inter College Cricket Tournament on Monday at 9am.
While the Edmundians won their semifinal quite comfortably, the Anthonians did not have it so easy.
Shillong College won the toss in the first semi and chose to field.
St Anthony’s made 128/9 in 25 overs and the match went down to the wire, with Shillong College bowled out for 123 in 24.5 overs.
In the second game, Kiang Nangbah College won the toss and batted first, a decision that went against them as they were bundled out for just 80 in 24.5 overs.
St Edmund’s then polished of the required runs for the loss of two wickets in 16 overs.
