The Dangar People Welfare Association (DPWA) has extended their best wishes to the students hailing from Dangar village and studying in Shillong or outside the state, in their upcoming examinations.

General Meeting

The Association of qualified grade-IV candidates-2011, District Selection Committee, East Khasi Hills will hold its general meeting on November 16 at 10am at Khasi National Durbar Hall at Mawkhar.

Children’s Day

The Children’s Day Celebration programme will be held on November 15 at 11:30am in the crèche premises of Raj Bhavan Road.

The 545th Birth anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Devji will be celebrated by the city Gurudwara, Bara Bazar at the City Gurudwara premises and other places with a religious procession on November 16 according to the ‘Sikh Mariyada’ starting from City Gurudwara and proceedign along the GS Road up to Sri Guru Singh Sabha. On November 17, teh celebration will commence with Bhog Sri Akhand Path Sahebji at 10:00am.
