SHILLONG: Garo National Council, Assam zone has alleged that on November 13 night, around 10 members of Rabha Viper Force led by Akshay Rabha, Birbal Rabha and Kaplang Rabha hurled grenades on a villager at Tanti Village and fired more than five rounds at the village.
The GNC in a statement issued here on Thursday said that the militants also abducted one Eden Marak of the same village.
GNC also alleged that Garos are facing harassment at the hands of Assam police and army officials.
