SHILLONG: The Meghalaya Football Association (MFA), through its Referees Development Committee, will conduct a referees clinic and examinations for candidates to become CAT 5 referees and also promotion exams for CAT 5 to CAT 4 and CAT 4 to CAT 3 referees of the MFA from December 10-15 at the JN Sports Complex, Polo.
All active referees during 2013 in the above categories are eligible to apply to sit the exams.
For details, referees are advised to contact the Referees Committee of their respective district and sub-divisional associations. No candidates will be accepted without the recommendation of their District Association.
In this regard, the Shillong Sports Association (SSA) has invited fresh candidates to attend the clinic and exam to become CAT 5 referees.
Existing referees who would like to attend the clinic and sit for the promotional exams are also welcome.
Those interested can contact the SSA or the convener of the Referees Committee, DL Nongbri, for details. The last date for entry is November 30.
