Eye camp organised in city college

SHILLONG: The National Service Scheme, Seng Khasi College Unit, organized an eye camp on the College premises on Tuesday. The camp was attended by the Principal of the College, Smt. R Lyngdoh, teaching and non-teaching staff of the College and a large number of students who benefited from having their eyes checked at the said camp.

The camp brought to light the need to continuously spread awareness among people about different eye diseases. The eye camp was organized in collaboration with the District Blindness Control Society, East Khasi Hills.

Dr (Mrs) W. Laloo and staff of the Central Mobile Unit of the Ophthalmology Department, Shillong Civil Hospital helped in conducting the said camp.
