Hek to attend NE business summit

SHILLONG: Health and Family Welfare Minister AL Hek will be attending 9th ‘North-East Business Summit’ to be held in Dibrugarh, Assam. The summit which is organised by Union Ministry for Development of North East Region (DoNER) along with the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) would be held from November 22 to 24. Sources on Wednesday informed that Hek has been asked to attend the meeting after Chief Minister Dr Mukul Sangma has rushed to Delhi as he is scheduled to meet Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh and other Union ministers to discuss issues pertaining to the State
