General meeting
The All Meghalaya Contractor & Supplier Association will hold its general meeting at the State Central Library at 2 pm on November 26. In a statement issued here on Friday, AMC&SA general secretary BL Nongbri said that the meeting has been called to discuss the projects funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) to improve the infrastructure of secondary schools in the State.
Fines
The Shillong Traffic police have realized a total amount of Rs 1.33 lakh as fines during a special drive against overloading by local cabs and STPS buses including checking of two wheelers from November 19 to 22.
Meeting
An extra ordinary General Body meeting of Central Puja Committee will be held on November 24 at the Jagannath Mandir, Thana Road. The meeting will make a review of the just concluded Durga puja, Diwali and Chhat puja festivals in Meghalaya.
