Petrol bomb attack

On November 24 at around 7.30 am, one Khle Phawa (30) of Madanrting went to Civil Hospital Shillong and reported that on November 23 at around 10 pm, some unknown persons threw petrol bomb on him at Iew Mawlong. As a result, he sustained burn injuries. However, the alleged injured victim had fled away from CH Shillong before Police reached for enquiry.

Theft

On November 23, unknown miscreants stole four tyres from a Maruti car (ML-05E-9580) belonging to one P Prabhat Singh which was parked at MLA Hostel, Shillong.

On November 21 at around 1.30 am, unknown miscreants stole five cell phones and one memory chip from the shop of one Montu Singh at Bholaganj Bazar (EKH).

Dr WK Dkhar lodged a complaint at Shillong Sadar PS that on November 16, he lost his ATM Card near Woodland Hospital. Later, he was informed by the SBI Evening Branch, Shillong that Rs. 40,000 has been withdrawn from his account.

Threat case

On November 21 at around 11 am, one Wardet Marbaniang (45) threatened the Sirdar of Kynrud village with dire consequences. VDP members apprehended the accused and handed him over to the Police at Mairang PS.

A woman (22) lodged a complaint at Mairang PS that on November 16 at about 12 pm, one Thiwanstar Mawlong outraged her modesty and also threatened her with dire consequences at Mawlieh Laitdom village (WKH).

Accident case

On November 20 at around 4 pm, one Mahindra Maxx vehicle (ML-10-9523) driven by Skhembor Kharbani (23) knocked down one Sken Warjri (70) at Dom Mawlein (WKH). As a result, the victim sustained injuries and shifted to TSM Hospital, Mairang, where he succumbed to his injuries. Police arrested the driver. A criminal case has been registered.
