Blood camp
A voluntary blood donation camp was organized at Composite Hospital BSF FTR HQ, on Tuesday in collaboration with blood bank department NEIGRIHMS. The blood donation camp was inaugurated by Anil Kumar IG, BSF, FTR HQ Meghalaya in presence of senior officers of BSF, Dr. E. Lyngdoh, Deputy Director Meghalaya AID’s Control Society & Dr Luthika N. Lyngdoh, Blood bank in-charge, NEIGRIHMS. Large number of BSF officers and other personnel donated blood during the camp.
Special camp
The NSS unit of Shillong College concluded its seven-day special camping programme at Mawjongka village on November 23. The main activity during the programme was the construction of community asset and three drinking water ponds in the village.
Fan club
Dondor Singh Rumnong, President, Narendra Modi Fan Club, Meghalaya has nominated David Ch. Marak,Sanjib Baidya and Subhasish Nag to the state executive committee of the club. Besides, Junior Lamin was appointed as person in charge Jaintia Hills.
