Rape

One woman lodged a complaint at Ladrymbai BH that on November 25, at around 5 pm, one Dwen Rymbai driver of a four wheeler vehicle (number unknown) raped her inside the vehicle at Rymbai village (EJH).

Arrest

Police arrested one David Kharlukhi (30) in connection with a dacoity case under Laitumkhrah PS.

Land deal

One Bankyrshanlang Jana Nongbet has clarified that the plot of land sold by one Eston Roy Giri to his father Dijen Wahlang Pahsyntiew was as per sale deed dated 18.8.2004. Nongbet also informed that he did not forge the NOC of former headman Edmund Syiem related to the purchase of land.

Assault

On November 29 at around 9.30 pm, unidentified miscreants assaulted Gregory Ranee (17) near RR Colony Community Hall, Shillong. Later, some Khasi boys went to the place of occurrence and assaulted one Raju Das (30) causing injuries to him.

On November 22 at around 3 pm, Bimal Tamang and his accomplices assaulted one Ranjit Giri at Sohkymphor in East Jaintia Hills. As a result, victims sustained injuries and shifted to hospital at Guwahati.

Theft

On November 28 night, unknown miscreants broke into the shop of one Swajan Kr. Das at Hawakhana, Tura, West Garo Hills and stole, Rs. 12,000 and grocery items valued around Rs. 25,720.

Missing

One Sachin Sharma lodged an FIR at Pillangkata outpost that on November 28 at around 1 am, his dumper truck (AS-18C-5175) was found missing along with driver Md. Sahid Ali from Umtyrnga, Ri Bhoi.

Arrest

Head constable K.K. Marak of Shillong Sadar Traffic Branch lodged a complaint that on November 28 at around 5.45 pm, one Khraslanjoy Kharphuli, driver of local taxi (ML-05G-8847) was obstructing the road at Police Bazar Point. When he was asked to move, he abused the constable on duty and also assaulted him. Police arrested the accused.
