UK man with sleeping disorder paints, cooks in sleep
London: A UK man cooks and paints the ceiling in his sleep due to a rare sleeping disorder.
Steve Chapman from Overton, Hants said that once his wife came home to find a stepladder in the lounge after he had painted the ceiling but couldn’t remember it, the Daily star reported. The 57-year-old has also cooked meals for himself while he was asleep and has no recollection of the episodes.
He has been diagnosed with Kleine-Levin Syndrome, which affects around one in a million people and some sufferers do not even wake up for months.
Chapman, who works as a machine assistant for a banknote printer De La Rue, manages to keep his condition under control with medication. (ANI)
Kate Middleton wants normal things for son
London: The Duchess of Cambridge is trying her best to raise her royal baby George on her own terms.
The 31-year-old, maiden name Kate Middleton, is married to Prince William. She gave birth to their son George July 22 at the Lindo Wing at St. Mary’s Hospital in Paddington here.
They are determined to keep their home a nanny-free zone as far as possible.
“Kate does not want George to be more used to the sight of the help than to his own parents. George has given a whole new meaning to Catherine’s life,” a source said. The couple look at their friends and see how they have managed raising a baby while having careers. “They do not see why it should be so different for them. The goal is to keep a normal environment around George,” added the source. (IANS)

London: Fergal Murray’s job has to be close to being one of the top jobs in the world as the master brewer earns a living travelling the world drinking Guinness.
Murray, who is responsible for the quality of every pint that leaves the famous Storehouse brewery in Dublin, told the Daily Star that although he travels around the world, his job requires lot of hard work too.
He has to make sure that the famous drink, brewed in 51 countries worldwide, tastes as good as it does in the Irish capital.
His job has seen him cross paths with celebrities and royalty and he recently shared his knowledge with Tom Cruise and Barack Obama. (ANI)

Budapest named most ‘welcoming European city’
Washington: A latest survey by an apartment-rental website has named Budapest as the most welcoming European city.
HouseTrip.com which has crunched the numbers on 130,000 of its users’ European city reviews named the city for its five-star rating across the seasons for its all-round cheeriness, CNN reported .
Lisbon came to be second-best for the quality of its welcomes overall followed by Amsterdam on the list.
Meanwhile, Paris was considered the most convivial city in spring, Rome in summer, Amsterdam in autumn and Berlin in deepest winter.
In other results, Paris was rated the most welcoming city for couples and Madrid for solo travelers.
Lisbon was the best place to travel with a pet. (ANI)
‘Cannibal cop` kills and eats man after meeting on cannibalism website
London: A detective has been arrested over a cannibal murder after a man’s body was found in his garden.
According to German Police, the 55-year-old suspect admitted of murdering the victim, who he had met on a dark website for people obsessed with cannibalism. Dresden police chief Dieter Kroll said that the 59-year-old victim had always fantasized about being murdered and eaten by someone else since his youth.
When the business consultant went missing, police began a search and found out that they had met on Nov 4 and within hours the death had taken place. (ANI)
