Condolence pour in over shopkeeper’s death

SHILLONG: Meghalaya Governor Dr KK Paul has expressed his profound grief at the sad demise of Bisheshwar Das at Nemcare Hiospital. The Governor has conveyed his deepest condolences to the bereaved family.

Hope Minister Roshan Warjri also expressed her shock over the untimely demise of the victim of arson attack. In a statement issued on Wednesday, she said, “I express my deepest sympathies on the sad demise of Bisheshwar Das, who succumbed to his injuries this morning, despite the best efforts of medical team and experts. I also extend my deepest condolences to his wife, children and all the members of the bereaved family.”

Warjri added that the Government was taking all necessary measures, so that those involved in the crime, would be dealt with sternly, as per the provisions of law.

Meanwhile, the Bihari Welfare Association of Meghalaya has also condoled the death of Bisheshwar Das.

A prayer meeting was held at the office premises.
