Abduction

On December 3 at about 11:30 am, unidentified masked miscreants (5) abducted Md. Ejahur Ali (22) driver of Bolero camper (ML-08C-9314) from Chambugonggre under Phulbari PS (WGH), while he was dropping passengers. Matter is under enquiry.

Self immolation

Swapan Modak lodged an FIR that on December 2 at around 10.30 pm, his wife Reba Modak (30) had set herself ablaze in their house at Anandamath, Tura (WGH) and succumbed to her burn injuries. Necessary formalities were observed and the cadaver was handed over to the relatives. Matter is under enquiry.

Theft

Raju Sarkar of M/s Stay Service station, Mawpat, Shillong lodged a complaint at Rynjah PS that on December 2 around 6 pm, his employee Kartik stole Rs. 50,000.

On December 3 around 2.30 am, unknown miscreants broke into the shop of Smt. Badawanhun Diengdoh at Laitlyngkot (EKH) and stole groceries valued around Rs. 20,000. The unknown unknown miscreants broke into the shop of Bliersibon Khongbuh and stole groceries valued around Rs. 15,000.

Kidnap

Regarding missing report of Miss Shalia Anjum (15). During enquiry, it is learnt that one Veeru Singh had kidnapped the girl from Lower Mawprem, Shillong.

Assault

On December 1 at about 10 pm, one Karlang Nongdhar (31) assaulted Shri Bhawan Law (25) with a daoin a jungle near Thangthring village (WJH). Victim sustained injuries and was shifted to CH Shillong. Investigation is on.
